Download and Install Oxygen OS 4.0 for OnePlus 3T (Android Nougat Official OTA Update)

Hello, This time I want to share a detailed guide to install the Oxygen OS 4.0 (NougatOTA) for OnePlus 3T. Additional features will you get after Oxygen OS 4.0 update is support for multi-window, direct replies from incoming notification and some customization OnePlus such as the use of DPI. For this version itself has entered the final stage Nougat for OnePlus 3T and not the open beta. Well if you're still in beta version I recommend to install this ROM.

There are two updates you can choose from, OTA update of Oxygen Oxygen OS 3.0 to OS 4.0 or you can choose to install the full ROM.

Things to remember before installing it manually Oxygen OS 4.0 (Nougat) at OnePlus 3T:

1. Charge your phone to a minimum of 50% before you start the installation.

2. Back up your data is prior to the anticipation.

Step-by-step guide to installing Oxygen OnePlus OS 4.0 Stable at 3T (Android 7.0 Nougat)

1. Turn on USB Debugging from Settings> Developer options. If you do not see an option then go to Settings> About phone and press / tap on the Build number 7 times to enable the Developer.

2. Download and extract the ADB tools into the same folder. For Nougat OTA update files in the same folder and rename it to "update.zip".

3. When finished, press and hold the power button and the volume down to get into Recovery mode.

Now you have to choose "Install from ADB" and then connect the phone to your PC (Windows).

4. On your PC open the Administrator Command Prompt in the folder you extracted in Step 2. You can do it from the File menu or by pressing the Shift key when you right click on your mouse.

5. At the command prompt, type "adb devices" (without the quotes) and press enter.

6. If you OnePlus 3T is detected by "sideload" written next to it, then it is ready.

7. We need to run some more commands, enter the "adb kill-server" and run "adb start-server". Now, once again enter the "adb devices" and see if the phone is detected, if not try connecting again.

8. Once the phone is successfully displayed, type the following code and press enter: "adb sideload (filename update) .zip"

9. After the flash step is successful, go back to the main recovery menu, clear the cache. Then Reboot your phone.
